CRICKET: Ilminster is having a blast with Under-19s T20 action

ILMINSTER Cricket Club has been enjoying some fantastic Friday evenings of cricket action this summer with the club’s Under-19s in T20 excitement.
The Ilminster Under-19s have enjoyed cracking wins over Yeovil and Crewkerne with large crowds congregating at the Recreation Ground for a fun night for all the family with music, barbecue, bar, prosecco and bouncy castle.
The Under-19s take on North Perrott at the Rec on Friday (July 28, 2017) for their final home game and another victory would see them top their group in the T20 competition and progress to the next stage.
The cricket starts early evening and although the weather does not look great for Friday, pop on down to the Recreation Ground and enjoy a drink at The Shed which is now officially known as the Tony Rice Bar in memory of club stalwart Tony Rice who died last year.
These photos were taken during Ilminster’s thrilling victory over Yeovil last month.
