LEISURE: Fundraising gig for The Shed renovation project

TICKETS have gone on sale for a fundraising gig to help raise money for the second phase of the renovation of The Shed at Ilminster Recreation Ground.
Ilminster Cricket Club, which is giving the much-loved Shed a much-needed refurbishment, will be playing host to Eat The Rich, a great band from Torquay.
The fundraiser takes place at the Shrubbery Hotel in Ilminster on Saturday, February 4, 2017, from 7pm and there will also be a disco in between sets.
Tickets will be priced £5 in advance or £7 on the night and available from the Shrubbery Hotel, Adrian Sims and Ilminster CC members.
“It’s going to be a great night and there will also be a big draw as well,” said a club spokesman.
The Shed is being renamed Ricer’s Shed in memory of Ilminster Cricket Club legend Tony Rice who died earlier this year.
