CHRISTMAS 2016: Still time to post those Christmas cards – the all-important last postal dates

THE frantic preparations for the festive season are well underway – but how many people have still yet to post off their Christmas Cards to family and friends?
The good news is – don’t panic – you have still got time to write your cards, get the stamps and post them.
The bad news is – you don’t have lots of time!
The latest recommended posting dates for in the UK for Christmas 2016 are Tuesday, December 20, for second class mail and Wednesday, December 21, for first class mail and Thursday, December 22, for special delivery.
Unfortunately, if you have got items that need to be posted in Europe, you have missed the last recommended date for Christmas arrivals by about a month!
