SOMERSET NEWS: Man identified from CCTV over Taunton disturbance

POLICE have identified a man they want to speak with in connection with a disturbance in Taunton last month.
An appeal was made by police earlier this week for information about the public order incident which happened in the early hours of Sunday, October 2, 2016, in North Street/High Street.
Police released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak as part of the appeal for information.
But a police spokesman, speaking on Wednesday (November 2, 2016), said: “Following an appeal for information about a disturbance in Taunton earlier this month, we've now identified the man in the CCTV image we released.
“Enquiries are continuing into the public order incident in North Street/High Street, but we’d like to thank all those who shared our appeal.”
During the incident on Sunday, October 2, 2016, a 31-year-old man suffered an injury to his face and was taken to hospital for treatment.
