ILMINSTER got a shout out on Simon Mayo’s Radio Two drivetime show on Wednesday (October 26, 2016) evening – thanks to “Steve from Ilminster” and his three-worder.
Listeners are invited to send in a summary of their day in no more than three words which are then sporadically read out throughout the show which is broadcast on Radio Two every weekday evening between 5pm and 7pm.
Simon Mayo read out a three-worder sent in from “Steve from Ilminster” consisting of “Shorts All Year.”
To which the broadcaster said: “Ludicrous!”
