SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Police look for elderly man in mobility scooter over assault

POLICE are appealing for help in identifying a man travelling on a large mobility scooter who they would like to speak to in relation to an assault in Chard.
The incident took place on Holyrood Street, Chard, on Monday, August 1, 2016, at around 11am.
A police spokesman said: “The man is described as being an older male, likely to be in his 70s with grey hair and bald on top.
“He was wearing a black coat and travelling on a large mobility scooter with a white Chihuahua on his lap.”
Anyone who recognises the man, or who has any other information, is asked to contact 101 quoting crime reference number 5216169704.
