SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Crash on A303 near South Petherton

EMERGENCY services were called out this afternoon (Monday, August 15, 2016) following reports of a crash involving one car and a lorry near South Petherton.
The alarm was raised at just before 3pm to the incident on the A303 westbound carriageway and firefighters from Martock, Crewkerne and Yeovil were mobilised.
They confirmed that the collision involved a car and a large goods vehicle with one person still in the vehicle.
“We assisted ambulance crews in removing the casualty via a spinal board,” said a spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
