SCHOOL NEWS: All of the award winners from Swanmead’s Celebration of Achievement

HEADTEACHER Mark Walker each year describes the Celebration of Achievement Evening at Swanmead Community School in Ilminster as the most important date in the school’s calendar – and 2016 was no different.

The annual event – held this year on Monday, July 18, 2016 – gives the school a chance to look back on the academic year and congratulate each other on a job well done and celebrate individual success stories. SCHOOL NEWS: All of the award winners from Swanmead’s Celebration of Achievement

See below a list of all the students who received awards at last week’s truly memorable celebration of achievement.

Class Prizes: Achievement – Nancy Pattisson, Kieran MacKay, Anya Briggs; Progress – Toby Ward, Drew White, Thomas Dunn; Effort – Hattie Luffman, Keira Timson, Joel Knight.

Pupil of the Trip: Year 5 Osmington Bay – Keira Timson; Year 6 Cardiff – Aidan Upshall and Shayla Male; Year 7 Great Wood – Cecilia (Cissie) Hunt.
