ILMINSTER NEWS: Warning over fake Scottish notes in use
POLICE have reported there having been two incidents of fake Scottish £20 notes being used for payments in the Ilminster area during the past month.
A report outlining the incident and other police matters will go before Ilminster Town Council at its monthly full meeting tonight (Tuesday, March 22, 2016).
People – especially those who work in shops and deal with customer cash transactions – have been reminded to keep an eye out for counterfeit money.
