ILMINSTER NEWS: Have local ladies gone braless?

ILMINSTER residents could be forgiven for thinking that a new bra shop has opened up on the premises of hairdresser Hebron as stylists Serena and Harriet are pictured taking delivery of yet more bras.
Claire Hebron Wheatley, of the salon in East Street, said: “Little did we realise when we agreed to have the Rotary bra bank sited in the shop just how many bras would be handed in.
“It does make one wonder whether or not the women of Ilminster have all decided to go braless!”
Cancer research charities will receive a donation depending on the weight of the bras collected, while the underwear garments will be shipped off to Africa where they are in short supply.
Ilminster Rotary Club president Linda Piggott has thanked the hair salon for its continued support, plus that of the local ladies who are donating their bras.
