ILMINSTER NEWS: Market House work to be completed
A £12,000 project to carry out essential maintenance on the historic Market House in the centre of Ilminster should be completed today (Wednesday, February 10, 2016).
Members of Ilminster Town Council’s resources committee were told the news at their meeting last night (Tuesday, February 9, 2016).
Town clerk Joy Norris told councillors that scaffolding which has been installed around the Market House during the work should come down on Friday (February 12, 2016).
The work has included some re-pointing, shot blasting the guttering, rewiring and replacing lights and decorating the ceiling.
