SOMERSET NEWS: Shoplifting gang hit Matalan

POLICE are appealing for information after a gang of shoplifters struck at a clothing store in Taunton.
The incident took place on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at about 1pm at the Matalan store on Bindon Road.
A police spokesman said: “We believe that five women left the store with a large amount of clothing which they hadn’t paid for.
“They then loaded these items into a silver Ford Focus and left the area. It is thought that the total value of the stolen goods was about £500.”
The police have released a CCTV image of a woman they would like to speak with in connection with the incident.
