BUYING tyres and having them fitted in Ilminster, Chard and the surrounding areas is now easier, more convenient and cheaper, thanks to a father and son team.

Ian and Elliot Kerr have launched etyres South Somerset, a mobile tyre fitting service, to cover the town and the surrounding areas.

“Nobody looks forward to buying new tyres, they are usually an unwanted and unexpected expense,” Ian explained.

“But they are a necessity, not a luxury and of course, we rely on our vehicles so much in this area, not least because many parts are rural and public transport is not always an easy option.
