BUSINESS: More success for Ilminster’s Hazelwell Lodge

A CARE home in Ilminster has been honoured for the way it provides an excellent service to individuals. at an awards ceremony last week.

Hazelwell Lodge in Station Road, Ilminster, won the 2016 Care Organisation category for the second time in the Care Focus South West Care Awards, on Friday (April 22, 2016) night.

Staff from the home, which specialises in dementia and mental health care, took to the stage at a 400-guest, candlelit Wellsprings Leisure Centre in Taunton to collect their award.

The team at Hazelwell is no stranger to collecting awards as over the last four years the home has picked up titles such as Quality Dementia, Excellence in Leadership and Dignity in Care.

Hazelwell Lodge manager, Claire Kingdon, said: “We are over the moon for winning the award.

“It is great that the work we do has been recognised at the standard we strive and aim for.

“We are proud of the achievements that we have made at Hazelwell over the years and are very grateful to all those that supported us.”
